Itinerary 10 days tour from Fes to Tangier via Sahara desert

Day 1: Arrival to Fes - guided tour sightseeing Fes


The 10-day itinerary for Morocco begins with a pick-up from the airport or your Fes lodging. The rest of the day is then devoted to a guided tour of Fes' top attractions. In addition to being the political, social, and cultural hub of Morocco, the city is regarded as one of the imperial cities.
First, we go to the Royal Palace gate to begin the day. Then there is the beautifully preserved medieval Medina, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The entrance to the old Medina, known as the Blue Gate or Bab Boujloud, will be visited. You will enter the Medina to see the Tanneries, Medrasa Bouanania, and Najjarine fountain. The oldest university in the world is located at the Quaraouin mosque. We then depart from the Medina to visit the Jewish neighbourhood, also known as "the Mellah." For a panoramic view of the Medina and the city of Fes, we travel to an old fortress in the afternoon. Eventually, go back to your Riad.

Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Cedars forest- Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga Sahara


We have a hearty breakfast before travelling through Imouzzer to Ifrane. It is no surprise that the city is referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco given its reputation for being cold, having snow, and having homes built in an Alpine style. We then continue on to the cedar forest, which is home to the Barbary macaques. While exploring the forest, feel free to give them food. We then travel on to Midelt, where we will have lunch on our own. Then, through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and the Ziz valley, we travel to Merzouga. Along the way, stops will be made for panoramic views.
We arrive in the Sahara desert in the late afternoon. After that, you travel across the sandy desert on camels. You'll stop to take in the sunset atop a tall dune. You eventually make it to the desert camp. The camp is a merger of a nomad's traditional tent and the luxuriousness of a hotel. You can dance around the campfire at night while listening to Berber drum music under a vast open sky filled with stars. Dinner and a night spent camping.

 

Day 3: Explore Merzouga region – Nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga lake – Erg Chebbi – palm grove


To view the stunning sunrise from the middle of the desert, you must get up early in the morning. You will then have time for breakfast. The driver is waiting for you when you arrive back in Merzouga on camels. We set aside the day to investigate the Merzouga region. Sand dunes, wild lakes, mines, fossil areas, and magnificent oases are just a few of the region's incredible sites.
In Merzouga, we first begin our journey by travelling off-road to see an old kohl mine. After that, we go see the nomads in their uniquely woven tent. While sipping a cup of Berber tea, we will have the chance to talk about life. Our next stop is the village of Khamlia, where you can take in performances of Gnaoua dancing and music. The majority of its citizens are from sub-Saharan nations like Mali, Sudan, and Niger. After stopping for lunch in a restaurant, we'll take a stroll through a grove of palm trees. Then travel a short distance to see Flamingos Lake, another name for Merzouga's wild lake. Dinner and a night's sleep in an inn.

 

Day 4: Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley 


Day 4 of our 10 days tour in Morocco starts we leave the desert. We will first visit Rissani town, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani is still a major trading center in the region, with a large souk lively on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. We travel to Erfoud where we stop by one of the fossilized marble workshops after taking a stroll through the Rissani Souk. To get to the Todra Gorges, we then drive through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad. A large canyon through the mountains, with red cliff sides, has been created by the Todra River's course. Rock climbers will love these gorges as a location. You are welcome to explore the gorges and take in the scenery. Lunch on your own in a restaurant. Then, after passing through Boumalne Dades, we continue to the Dades valley. Stops at the "monkey fingers" rock formation on a mountaintop with a view of the Dades valley are unavoidable. Finally, supper and a hotel stay.
Day 5: Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Palm Groves of Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah- The high Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
After breakfast, we continue our 10 days trip to Kalaa Magouna, to visit the Rose valley. A Rose Festival is held annually in May. during the festival, locals offer their rose products, from perfumes, rose water, and oil, to cosmetic products. We then drive through the palm groves of Skoura. Later, we reach Ouarzazate, also known as the gate of the desert. We will visit the studios, in which famous movies were shot.
We depart to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified village recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Furthermore, the Kasbah has appeared in many movies including Gladiator, Alexander, the mummy…etc. And TV series including Game Of Thrones. Then we continue to Marrakech driving through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the high Atlas Mountains. Stops will be made for lunch, and to take pictures at interesting spots. Overnight stay in a Riad in Marrakech.

 

Day 6: Guided tour sightseeing Marrakech


On day 6 of our Morocco tour from Fes, will tour Marrakech's top attractions with a local guide after a hearty breakfast. The town is regarded as one of Morocco's four imperial cities. The Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and Ben Youssef Quranic mosque are all included in the tour. Then we take a stroll through Morocco's biggest traditional souk. You'll have enough time to eat lunch close to Jemaa El-Fna square. Later, you visit the Majorelle garden and the Koutoubia mosque, which is Marrakech's biggest mosque. Transfer to your lodging, and then. You are welcome to explore Jemaa El-Fna on your own.
 

Day 7: Marrakech – Essaouira
 

After breakfast, we travel to Essaouira in the west. On the way, we'll stop to get panoramic views and see goats on argon trees. We arrive in Essaouira, also known as Mogador, one of Morocco's major coastal cities. The city is renowned for its abundance of seafood varieties, stunning beaches, and surfing. We will tour the fishing port, the old Medina, and the cannon-adorned ramparts. Finally, we transfer you to your hotel, marking the conclusion of Day 7 of your 10-day trip to Morocco.
 

Day 8: Essaouira – Casablanca – Rabat
 

The 10-day itinerary for Morocco continues to Casablanca after breakfast. In order to get to Casablanca, the Moroccan capital and economic hub, we leave Essaouira and travel along the coast. As soon as you arrive in Casablanca, we'll take you to see the Casablanca Cornish as well as Morocco's largest mosque, Hassan II. Lunch will be on our own time. then take a drive to Rabat, the Moroccan capital. Rabat overnight stay
 

Day 9: Sightseeing Rabat the capital – Chefchaouen
 

After breakfast, we tour Rabat, the country's capital today and one of Morocco's former imperial cities. On the Atlantic coast, it is situated northwest of Morocco. The Hassan Tower, Mohammed V's Mausoleum, and the Kasbah of Oudaya are among the city's top attractions that you will see. Lunch will be on our own time. To get to the Blue City of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains, we travel north through Ouazzane in the afternoon. The city is renowned for its blue-painted structures and alleys. Hotel stay for one night
 

Day 10: Chefchaouen – Tangier airport
 

Depending on your flight time, you may have some free time on the last day of your 10-day itinerary in Morocco to stroll through the lovely alleyways of Blue City. To get to Tangier, we then travel through the Rif Mountains. We finally deliver you to the airport. The tour is over.
