Unique 3 DAYS TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO Merzouga desert

Day 1 : MARRAKECH – HIGH ATLAS – AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH – OUARZAZATE – DADES VALLEY

Our 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert begins with a pick-up from your Riad/hotel in Marrakech on the first day. Today, we go to Dades Gorges through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains, which has an elevation of 2260 meters. We will appreciate the picturesque mountain route as well as the lovely scenery with varying colors. On the road to Ouarzazate, we pass through a few Berber settlements. We will go to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, which is one of Morocco's most famous Kasbahs and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Then we'll go to Ouarzazate to see the Atlas Studios and the "Taourirt Kasbah," followed by lunch at one of the city's eateries. Following that, we go further southeast to the Dades valley, passing via the Skoura palmary and the beautiful Roses Valley. At final we get to Dades Goges, we will stay in a local riad/hotel and have supper, and the end of the fist day of our journey from Marrakech

Day 2: DADES VALLEY – TODRA GORGES – MERZOUGA – BERBER TENTS.

The second day of our 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga begins with a visit to the Dades Gorges. We'll go to Tisdrine after breakfast at your hotel (famous curves in the Valley). Later, we'll drive to Tinghir and the Todra Gorges, where we'll have a stroll through the famed gorges for mountain climbers. We continue on to Erfoud, going through a palm grove. In Erfoud, we could visit a fossil shop and foundry. Then we'll go to Rissani and the Sahara desert in Merzouga. We're getting ready for a camel ride into the desert, and we're watching the desert sunset from here. We spend the night among the sand dunes and eat dinner around the campfire. We will listen to native music played with drums after dinner. After that, you may climb the dunes near the camp and gaze at the stars.

 

Day 3 : Merzouga to Marrakech via the Daraa valley.

The last day of your 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert will start after you enjoy a wonderful sunrise from the top of the Sahara dunes. After your finish your breakfast will drive back to Marrakech and you have time you will have a stop in Rissani local Souk  (traditional market). After your visit to Rissani your next stop is going be the lunch time.  By the time you finish your lunch, you will resume driving and enjoy the landscapes on your way to Marrakech. On your arrival to Marrakech your 3 days trip from Marrakech will be finished.
