7 DAYS TOUR FROM FES to Sahara DESERT 

Itinerary of 7 days tour from Fes via the Sahara desert 

Day 1: Arrival - Fes - Chefchaouen

The seven-day vacation begins with an early pick-up from the airport or your Fes hotel. Then we go to Meknes, the Ismaili capital and an imperial city. We visit the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, and the granary. Time available for lunch. Next, we go 30 kilometers from Meknes to the Roman remains of Volubilis. UNESCO has designated it a World Heritage Site, thus it is beautifully protected. Numerous exquisite mosaics are strewn everywhere, along with old columns and arches.
After seeing the remains, we go via Ouazzane in the direction of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. Also referred to as the Blue city. The city is renowned for its blue-painted houses and lanes. Stay the night at a hotel.

Day 2: Chefchaouen to the city of Rabat

After breakfast, you are free to explore the city of blue. Then we travel across the Rif mountains to Rabat. Rabat is one of Morocco's imperial cities and the country's current capital. It is situated on the Atlantic coast in northwest Morocco. You will tour the City's Major Attractions, including the Hassan tower, the Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Oudaya Kasbah. Stay the night at a hotel.

Day 3: Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakech

We left Rabat after breakfast and travel down the coast to Casablanca. The city is the economic hub and most populous city in Morocco. The Hassan II Mosque is the second biggest mosque on the African continent. Then we tour the Cornish of Casablanca. Finally, we go inland to Marrakech, one of the royal cities and the red city. Feel free to explore the well-known Jemaa El-Fna plaza. Spend the night at a hotel or Riad.

Day 4: Guided sightseeing trip of Marrakech

After a hearty breakfast, we will see Marrakech's Top Attractions with a local guide. Included in the tour are the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Ben Youssef Quranic mosque. Additionally, wander through Morocco's biggest traditional souk. You will have time for lunch in the vicinity of Jemaa El-Fna. Later, you visit the biggest mosque in Marrakech, Koutoubia, as well as the Majorelle garden. Finally, you will be transferred to your lodging. Feel free to explore Jemaa El-Fna alone.

Day 5: Marrakech - High Atlas - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - Ouarzazate

We take you up from your Marrakech hotel in the early morning. Then, go across the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains and Tizi-N-Tichka Pass. After that, we travel to the renowned Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified settlement designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. In addition, the Kasbah has been featured in several films, including Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, etc. And television programs such as Game of Thrones. A local restaurant for lunch on the road. Then, we go to Ouarzazate, "The Gate of the Desert." Evening meal and overnight stay in Ouarzazate

 

Day 6: Ouarzazate-Rose valley-Todra Gorges-Erfoud-Merzouga Sahara-luxury camp overnight

 

After breakfast, we will transport you to one of the studios where several films have been filmed. Then, go to Rose valley. An annual Rose Festival is held in May when local rose products are sold. After that, we visit the Todra Gorges, where the Todra River has built a gorge with towering, red cliffs across the mountains. Feel free to explore the gorges and take in the breathtaking scenery.
The journey then continues through Touroug, Tinjdad, and Erfoudtown. After that, we reach Merzouga in the Sahara desert. You will use camels to traverse the dusty desert. After that, a halt will be made on a tall dune so that you may watch the sunset. Then go to the camp where you may enjoy Berber drum music while dancing around a bonfire under a huge, starry night sky. Dinner and overnight accommodations in the desert camp.

 

Day 7:Merzouga Sahara–Rissani – Erfoud – Midelt – cedars grove – Ifrane – Fes on the seventh day.

 

On the last day of the seven-day journey In the midst of the desert, you awake early in the morning to see the stunning dawn. After breakfast, you ride camels back to Merzouga, where your driver is waiting. After leaving the desert, we go to Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, a big souk is bustling in Rissani, which is still a key regional commercial hub. After a tour around the Rissani souk, we proceed to Erfoud to see one of the fossilized marble factories.
Following this, we travel beside the Ziz River and pause to take in a panoramic vista of the Ziz valley. Midelt offers a free lunch hour. Then, we go to a cedar grove where Barbary Macaques reside. Feel free to feed them while you explore the woodland. After that, we go to Ifrane, which is renowned for its cold climate, snow, and alpine-style architecture. It's little surprise it's referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco. Finally, we will drop you off at the airport or your Fes hotel.
