ITinerary of 8 day tour from Marrakech to Casablanca
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech and the exploration of the Medina.
The 8 days private tour from Marrakech to Casablanca begins with a transfer to your accommodation in Marrakech. Then we visit the main sights of Marrakech. We will visit various attractions and monuments, such as The square of Jamma el Fna and go for a walk in Medina. The Marrakech guided tour includes a visit to the Kotubia mosque, souks, and palaces and the Ben Youssef Medrassa. We go to a new part of town called Gueliz, and we may also go to the beach. Menara, go exploring in the gardens. We spend the night in a hotel in Marrakech.
Day 2: Marrakech in the direction of Dades visiting Ait ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, and Rose valley.
The second day of you 8 days tour from Marrakech to Casablanca begins at your Marrakech hotel. After breakfast, your journey begins with an exploration of the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n'Tichka pass (alt 2260 m). On the way, you'll stop at the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, where many movies have been filmed, including The Gladiator, The Mummy, Babel, Tea in Sahara, and so on. Later, proceed to Ouarzazate, dubbed "The African Hollywood," where you will see the Atlas studio and the Kasbah of Taourirte, before continuing on to the Dades Valley via the Palmery of Skoura and the Roses Valley, where you will check into the Hotel.
Day 3: Dades to Merzouga desert traveling through Todra gorges and Jorf palm groves.
The third day of your 8 days trip from Marrakech to Casablanca is the most exciting. We drive to Todra Gorges, where we can walk through the narrow canyon. It is well-known among hikers. Later, we drive to Erfoud, a small town known for its fossil museums. We may go to a local fossil factory and shop where you can buy souvenirs. We drive towards the desert until we reach Merzouga, where we begin our camel ride through the desert dunes. We'll ride camels with a knowledgeable camel guide. We arrive at Merzouga desert camp and spend the night in desert tents. Around the campfire, you will enjoy a desert dinner and Berber music.
Day 4: Merzouga desert to Fes passing by Rissani, Zize valley, Cedar forest, and Ifrane.
The fourth day of your Moroccan vacation begins after a memorable night in the desert. After breakfast, we ride camels to the village. We depart for Rissani, where we will visit the Ali Chrif Alaoui mausoleum. Then we travel from the desert to the Middle Atlas, stopping in Errachidia and the Ziz valley to explore the Middle Atlas mountain range. Stop in Midelt for a delicious lunch. After lunch, we'll head to the cedar forest to see monkeys in their natural habitat. Then we cross the lovely town of Ifrane to arrive in Fez at the end of the day. Dinner and lodging in a magnificent Riad.
Day 5: Exploring the Medina of Fes with a local guide.
The fifth day of your Morocco trip will be a very educational day. Your local city guide will lead you to the hidden gems of Fes medina. Fes has been the capital of Morocco for over 350 years, and it is the home of the University of Al Karouine, the world's oldest operating university. Your guide will accompany you to the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, the Nejjarine fountain, and the Tanneries. You will have lunch in the Medina before continuing your journey to the Jewish quarter "the Mellah," where you will have the opportunity to visit one of Morocco's few remaining synagogues.
Day 6: Fes to Chefchaouen crossing the Rif Mountains.
The 6th day of your desert tour from Marrakech initiates with a delicious breakfast in Riad. You will travel in the direction of Chefchaouen, passing through the Rif Mountains and the city of Ouazzanesee, where you will see many sights and unique landscapes. We will spend the day exploring the blue city of Chefchaouen and the evening dining in a magnificent Riad.
Day 7: Chefchaouen to Casablanca visiting the capital Rabat.
The 7th -day journey of your tour from Marrakech begins after breakfast in your hotel/riad in Chefchaouen. You will drive to Morocco's capital city, Rabat, and you will have time to explore the main attractions in the city (Oudaya Kasbah and Hassan Tower). We leave Rabat toward Casablanca, you will drive to Casablanca and visit the Hassan II mosque then head to your Casablanca accommodation.
Day 8: A visit to the Hassan 2 mosque and transfer to the airport.
The last day of your 8 days tour from Marrakech to Casablanca will be a transfer to the airport in Casablanca. After your breakfast, you going to have time to visit Morocco Mall and take some pictures by the Atlantic Ocean (the corniche). later on, you are going to drive to the Mohammed V airport for the check-in and it is going to be the end of your Morocco travel.
